Update: Video Classifieds Full Steam Ahead

Things have been progressing very well with our launch of DooShare Video Classifieds. Believe it or not, we recently performed a significant update to the classifieds area which included many enhancements – one of which is a core ecommerce platform. We are VERY exicted about our new ecommerce engine – since we now have the capability to charge for classified ad placement as well as for ‘premium’ ad enhancements.

For now, and for a limited time, our members can test out our classifieds area for FREE. In fact, we are planning a promotional offer granting all new and exisiting members a bank of DooShare Credits that can be used to posts ads, add on premium ad enhancements and really take DooShare Video Classifieds for a test drive.  

So if you have not done so already, create an account, find something you want to sell, make a short video demonstrating the product, post the video and then create a classified ad. Pretty simple!

You can also post your new classified ads to your social networks on sites like Facebook, Myspace and announce it to the world on Twitter.

Update: Video Classifieds Launch

We are very excited to announce that we have soft launched our video classifieds service. We believe DooShare is taking online classifieds to a whole new level. Going well beyond static classifieds ads with limited text and perhaps a photo or two. Now you can add the following to your classifieds:

  • Rich video to help sell your goods and services (virtual tours, 360 degree walk-arounds, product demonstrations, etc…)
  • Add up to 9 photos per listing to show every angle
  • Add an interactive map powered by Google Maps
  • Include a link to your website
  • Socially share your classifieds listings on sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and many more
  • Automatic distribution to DooShare Video when you post an ad and soon you will be able to sponsor your own video and include links back to your classified ad! See image below or see here ->  See Here

Update: Cleaner Experience

Some of you may have noticed that we made a variety of updates to the site which impacted the overall site appearance. Our goal was create a clean and fresh user experience. Just about every page on the site was impacted by the updates.

Most notably, on the homepage we brought up the ‘Most Recently Viewed’, ‘Featured’, ‘Top Rated’ and ‘Most Viewed’ videos. We know you are here to enjoy a video or two – so lets give you what you want.

We also widened the site considerably. This allowed us to increase the size of the video player. So now you can soak in and enjoy your videos that much more. Of course, you can always go full screen if you prefer. Either way, we hope you enjoy the wide screen viewing experience. This was an important improvement for our users.

Beyond that, there were countless updates all in an effort to provide you a great experience. So Enjoy!
